Mike Montalbano is a U.S. Army veteran with ten years in the private security industry in Silicon Valley, paid only $13.96 per hour. He is the primary caregiver for his 92-year-old mother and is organizing his union in Silicon Valley.

In one of the biggest victories for working people in Pennsylvania this year, 1,000 Pittsburgh security officers won their first-ever union contract with nine security companies, including quality healthcare and wage increases.

Security officers brought their Fight for $15 campaign to ASIS International, the largest conference of security industry professionals, calling for good jobs for veterans in the security industry.
