Essential Security Officers for the Women and Infants Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island ratified their first union contract with 32BJ SEIU.

Essential Security Officers for the Women and Infants Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island ratified their first union contract with 32BJ SEIU. The three-year contract includes: raises of at least 7 percent, differentials for night work, improvements in equity, pay, and job quality!!!

Security Officer, Scott Molly stated,  "I am proud that my co-workers and I stood strong and united for a contract that benefits us, our families, and the expecting parents and newborns we protect every day. Landing a job at Women & Infants meant the world to me as five of my family members were born in this hospital, and I take pride in the essential job I fill here.”

Congratulations to the security officers on their wins. As Officer Malloy stated, the way to win is by being united and as the year continues more officers across the country will be united and will be negotiating contracts.
